CV
Hello,

I'm Carmen—an architect and set designer based in Barcelona, with a background rooted in both spatial design and visual storytelling.

I grew up constantly drawing, naturally drawn to the arts in all their forms. That passion led me to study architecture in Madrid and Milan, where I developed a strong interest in the intersection between space, memory, and cultural heritage. My final thesis, The Imaginary Invalid, focused on the recovery of theatrical spaces and urban heritage. It was recognized with several national awards and international nominations.

After working in various areas of architecture, I became increasingly interested in art research and ephemeral design. I began with an internship at the Norman Foster Foundation, and over time, this path brought me closer to cinema. I pursued a Master's Degree in Art Direction at ESCAC, where I worked on a range of audiovisual projects, taking on different roles within the art department. Since then, I’ve contributed to several fiction productions, with a focus on the design and construction of sets.

I’m always open to new collaborations—feel free to reach out if you think we could create something together.
